anyone needing to kill time in glasgow should go to the goma for the haroon mirza piece. it’s a self sustaining installation assembled out of old furniture, electronic equipment and lighting. seriously impressed. a strobe gives a clicking that is mixed with various other loops (one from a record skipping) that sounds pretty huge/eerie in the room. you can watch a video here. there is also...
